I stepped out of my world and travelled to where man began.  To where the thought of being on time was someone else's dilemma.  My heart was running wild with the cheetahs that dotted the Serengeti.  The  sound of dovies cooing at dawn as the lions slowly found their way to the bush where they settled in for a long nap away from the hot african sun.
The zebras and wildebeasts grazing, constantly grazing across miles of savanna.  The migration being in their blood--driving them, pushing them onward to more fertile grasslands.  As the gazelles and impala danced across the grasslands, I felt my own soul dance with them.  The baboons that  chatter and the buffalo that would snort meant something was lurking just beyond, as was my curiosity that wanted to get closer to the elusive chui that was peering out of the bush.  The days were filled with exhilarating sunrises and breath taking sunsets.
Silohouetts of bao babs and giraffes saying la la salama to the last light of day.
Here, in Africa, I left my heart....
